SarvamAI, headquartered in Bengaluru and specializing in generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), secures $41 million (approximately INR 342 crore) in Series A funding. The startup intends to utilize the newly acquired funds to establish a comprehensive GenAI ecosystem, encompassing research-driven advancements in tailored AI model training and the creation of an enterprise-level platform for authoring and deployment.Established in July 2023, Sarvam is dedicated to crafting specialized large language models (LLMs) tailored for use cases specific to India.
